About this opportunity

The United States Special Operations Command has issued a Special Notice for a sole source acquisition of Applied Imagery's "Quick Terrain Modeler" (QTM) enterprise-wide software license and related training. The procurement will be conducted under the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 for commercial items and FAR Subpart 13 for simplified acquisition procedures. Naval Special Warfare Command (NSWC) is seeking this specific software license, with the opportunity identified by the federal contract ID 2d0f889d88a34ba4b4292709d6f389b2. The notice was posted on February 13, 2025, with responses due by February 20, 2025. The acquisition is specifically structured as a small business set-aside under the NAICS code 513210, with a small business size standard of $47 million.

The primary objective of this Special Notice is to establish a five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for QTM enterprise licenses and training, with an estimated maximum contract value of $1,125,000. The contract will be sole sourced directly to Applied Imagery LLC of Chevy Chase, Maryland, with the justification that only one source is reasonably available. Eligible contractors must be classified as a small business within the specified NAICS category. The government intends to issue Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Task Orders under this contract, focusing on software licensing and ancillary training for the QTM product. Potential contractors should note that while this synopsis provides detailed procurement information, it is not considered a formal request for quote and does not obligate the government to enter a contractual agreement.
