About this opportunity
The Department of the Army Materiel Command Contracting Command Detroit Arsenal is seeking a contractor to provide National Electrical Code (NEC) and Qualified Electrical Worker (QEW) training for the Directorate of Public Works (DPW) and Directorate of Production Engineering (DPE) at the Anniston Army Depot (ANAD). The contractor shall provide all material, transportation, labor, equipment, coordination, planning, and supervision necessary to deliver the NEC and QEW training. The Government will award a firm-fixed-price contract to the responsible offeror whose proposal conforms to the solicitation and is most advantageous, price and past performance considered. Questions are due by May 29, 2024, and proposals must be submitted electronically by June 6, 2024.
This is a 100% Small Business Set Aside procurement under NAICS code 611513. The training will be provided to approximately 95 ANAD employees over 4 separate sessions, with 16 hours of NEC training and 24 hours of QEW training. The period of performance is 120 days from the contract start date, and the place of performance is Anniston, AL 36201, USA.

The Government has a requirement for National Electrical Code (NEC) and Qualified Electrical Worker (QEW) training for the Directorate of Public Works (DPW) and Directorate of Production Engineering (DPE) at the Anniston Army Depot (ANAD) in accordance with the Statement of Work. The contractor shall provide all material, transportation, labor, equipment, coordination, planning, and supervision necessary to provide the NEC and QEW training. This is a 100% Small Business Set Aside procurement. North American Industry Classification System Code is 611513. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502, 5.102(a); therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Proposals submitted must be in electronic format as stated in the solicitation. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the Internet: http://www.sam.gov. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is, in fact, unable to maintain a bidder’s mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above Internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals may render your proposal non-responsive and result in the rejection of your proposal.
