This Notice is being issued by the Network Contracting Office (NCO) 16 at 2002 Holcombe Boulevard Building 100 Houston Texas 77030. The Government intends to issue a request for quote on or about 1 November 2021 for the procurement of up to 30 Registered Nurse services to support the Intensive Care Unit and other critical areas of need for the Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center 2002 Holcombe Boulevard Houston Texas 77030. It is anticipated that this requirement will be a Service Disable Veteran Owned Set Aside pursuant to VAAR 819.7005 VA service-disabled Veteran-owned small business set-aside procedures. It is anticipated that the resulting contract will be a Firm Fixed Price contract. The requirement is for a total of 17,200 hours. Anticipated period of performance is 1 December 2021 to 31 March 2022. Submit any questions regarding this notice not later than 22 October 2021 to Frank Mendoza at Francisco.Mendoza@va.gov. This notice complies with the requirements of FAR 5.201. The Government reserves the right to cancel or amend this notice at any time before issuance of the solicitation. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Department of Veterans Affairs to form a binding contract. Respondents are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this notice.
