This procurement is set aside exclusively for small businesses under NAICS code 334511 (Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing) with a size standard of 1,350 employees. The solicitation includes a brand name justification restricting competition to Trimble products due to existing infrastructure compatibility and the need for seamless interoperability with current survey equipment. The equipment delivery is required 4 to 6 weeks after award, with a specified delivery date of October 31, 2025, to the Tucson Area Indian Health Service facility in Tucson, Arizona. The procurement involves purchasing 1 GPS unit as outlined in the SF 1449 form, though the Statement of Work details multiple components and accessories within this single line item. Market research identified only two large companies as potential Trimble equipment providers and 50 small businesses potentially capable of supporting GPS requirements.
