About this opportunity
The Department of the Interior Bureau of Indian Education seeks psychoeducational assessment and evaluation services for Kayenta Community School in Kayenta, Arizona, with proposals due May 12, 2026 at 5:00 PM Eastern time. The procurement is a 100 percent small business set-aside, closed to firms outside that category.
Place of performance is Kayenta, Arizona. The contractor must provide one certified school psychologist available for twenty days (160 hours) at eight hours per day, scheduled as approximately two days per month, to conduct psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for special education services. An estimated ten initial evaluations and ten reevaluations will occur during the contract period. Services include test administration in collaboration with the Special Education Department, test scoring, interpretation, written comprehensive reports (within 30 days), participation in IEP/MDT meetings, and Arizona evaluation requirement compliance. An additional twenty hours are allocated for evaluation and report preparation.
Period of performance runs August 7, 2026 through August 6, 2027. All contractor personnel with onsite presence or access to personally identifiable information must complete background investigations through the Defense Counterintelligence Service Agency and receive favorable screening determinations within fourteen days of award. The government will evaluate quotes based on technical capability (company qualifications, experience with similar services, key personnel qualifications and availability, and past performance) and price, with award to the responsible quoter whose conforming quote is most advantageous to the government.
