About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Space Command is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive fire alarm maintenance and technical support services for Edwards Fireworks fire alarm systems and Edwards System Technology (EST) building control panels at Peterson Space Force Base and Cheyenne Mountain Space Force Station. The contractor must furnish labor and materials for technical support, testing, repairs, troubleshooting, upgrades, and training services, with specific requirements including a certified EST Fire Alarm Technician providing 384 annual on-site service hours and response times of 72 hours for urgent calls and 24 hours for emergency situations. Essential qualifications include Edwards EST levels 3-4 certification, NICET Level II certification, FireWorks standalone and server-based certifications, VESDA accreditation, and Information Assurance Technical Level II certification. The government will evaluate proposals using a lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) methodology, considering both technical approach and price factors. Quotations are due by September 12, 2025, at 1000 hours MT, with offerors required to have a CAGE code and be registered in SAM and Wide Area Work Flow systems.
This solicitation does not include any set-aside designations and is open to all qualified contractors. The contract scope encompasses approximately 160 fire alarm system nodes with accompanying panels and 8 VESDA facilities, along with one computer hub connected to the PSFB operating system. The contract structure is a Firm Fixed Price arrangement with a five-year performance period from September 28, 2025, to September 27, 2030, including a base year and four option years, plus an optional 6-month extension under FAR 52.217-8. Services will be performed primarily at Peterson Space Force Base in Colorado and Cheyenne Mountain Space Force Station, with work conducted during normal business hours (7:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday-Friday) and occasional after-hours emergency support. The current pricing schedule shows placeholder values of $0.00, indicating that contractors must provide their own pricing for the technical support services and emergency on-site service hourly rates.
