About this opportunity

The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity issued a notice of intent to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract to Hologic Sales and Service, LLC for annual preventative and unscheduled maintenance and repair services on a Hologic Panther Fusion system operated by the United States Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases, with a challenge period closing June 8, 2026. The work covers manufacturer-recommended preventative maintenance and repair services necessary for continuous, efficient operation of the system. Hologic maintains proprietary ownership of the equipment and all associated operational software, and the Government asserts it is the only vendor capable of meeting the requirement. The work falls under NAICS 811210 (Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance) and PSC J066 (Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuild of Equipment—Instruments and Laboratory Equipment).
