About this opportunity
The United States Coast Guard Aviation Logistics Center has published a Special Notice for the procurement of Pressure Plate Assemblies for MH-60T aircraft. The notice announces the agency's intent to award a sole source contract to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, the original equipment manufacturer, under existing Basic Ordering Agreement SPE4A1-22-G-0005. This procurement falls under NAICS code 336413 (Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing) and Product Service Code 1615 (Helicopter Rotor Blades, Drive Mechanisms And Components). The Coast Guard cites Federal Acquisition Regulation 13.106-1(b)(1), indicating these items are available from only one source. The solicitation number 70Z03825QJ0000322 has been assigned for tracking purposes, though no formal solicitation package will be issued.
The procurement seeks 8 units of Pressure Plate Assemblies (Part Number 70103-08103-047) required for replacement during routine maintenance due to failures, corrosion, and damage. While this is intended as a sole source acquisition, the Coast Guard will consider quotations from all responsible sources submitted to Ashley.R.Winslow@uscg.mil and mrr-procurement@uscg.mil by 2:00 PM EDT on July 25, 2025, with the subject line containing the solicitation number. The requirement is unrestricted with no small business set-aside, and delivery is requested within 365 days after receipt of order, with early shipments encouraged at no additional cost. Inspection and acceptance will be performed at origin by the Defense Contract Management Agency, and the contract will be awarded based on fair and reasonable pricing determination. The Coast Guard retains sole discretion in determining whether to compete this procurement based on responses received.
