About this opportunity
The Department of the Navy Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) is seeking a Design-Bid-Build construction contract for two new recruit barracks at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot in Parris Island, South Carolina. The solicitation (N40085-25-R-2510) will be issued on or about March 19, 2025, with an anticipated contract award by August 2025. The procurement will utilize a best value continuum process that evaluates both non-price (technical and past performance) and price proposals under full and open competition. Potential contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and large businesses will be required to submit subcontracting plans prior to contract award.
The project is classified under NAICS code 236220 for Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, with a small business size standard of $45 million. Contractors can access the full solicitation documents in Adobe PDF format through PIEE and SAM.gov websites, with drawings and specifications to be included in the final solicitation package. Interested parties are encouraged to register when downloading the documents to receive email notifications of potential amendments, and all questions should be directed to Scott Schulz at the provided Navy email address.
