About this opportunity
The Department of State, through its International Criminal Investigative Training Assistance Program (ICITAP), is soliciting hotel services to host a four-day Countering Violent Extremism (CVE) training event in Banten, Indonesia. The procurement seeks a four-star hotel capable of accommodating approximately 410 participants, including civil servants from various Indonesian agencies, the National Police, Ministry of Religion, and district government offices. Key requirements include a 410-person capacity meeting room with specific audio-visual equipment (1000-watt AV system, microphones, Wi-Fi, LED video screens), VIP holding rooms, lodging facilities (seven single and nine twin occupancy rooms), comprehensive food and beverage services with two daily coffee breaks and buffet lunch, and on-site technical support. Bidders must be established hotel chain companies with offices in Indonesia, maintain permanent business addresses, and possess active System for Award Management (SAM) registration for quotations exceeding $30,000. Quotations are due by December 19, 2025 at 10:00 AM, with no evaluation criteria explicitly detailed in the available documentation.
This solicitation carries no set-aside designation and does not identify any incumbent contractors. The training event is scheduled for January 6-8, 2026, in Pandeglang and Lebak, Banten, Indonesia, targeting civil servants in areas identified as having high levels of intolerance, radicalism, and terrorism. The event aims to equip 400 participants with knowledge about radical movement recruitment tactics and characteristics, enabling them to disseminate this information to their communities. No specific award value is disclosed in the solicitation notice, though the requirement for SAM registration on quotations over $30,000 suggests the contract value may fall within that range. The place of performance is Pandeglang, Pandeglang Sub-District, Pandeglang Regency, Banten, Indonesia.
