About this opportunity
The National Park Service Intermountain Region is soliciting proposals for portable toilet rental services at Cedar Breaks National Park for the 2025 summer visitor season. The agency requires two regular portable toilet units and one ADA-compliant unit, each equipped with hand sanitizer, to be located at the North View Overlook/Contact Station. Contractors must service these units twice weekly, on Monday/Tuesday and Friday, and leave extra toilet paper and dispenser keys with the Facility Manager. The solicitation (140P1225Q0042) requires electronic quote submission through the Invoice Processing Platform (IPP) by 1:00 PM MDT on April 16, 2025, with an anticipated award date on or before that same date. Bidders must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), have a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI), and comply with standard federal contracting representations and certifications.
The contract opportunity is not set aside exclusively for small businesses, though it follows small business guidelines with a NAICS code of 562991 and a small business size standard of $7.5 million. The portable toilets will be delivered between May 19-23, 2025, and removed between October 20-24, 2025, serving the park for approximately 20-23 weeks. The location is situated off S.R. 14, approximately 26 miles from Cedar City, Utah, with the contract being administered by Kimberly Steele from the National Park Service Intermountain Region. Amanda Garrison will serve as the park point of contact, and the project is directly related to ongoing visitor contact station construction. Contractors must adhere to the attached Service Contract Labor Standards Wage Determination for Iron County, which establishes minimum wage rates for various labor classifications.
