About this opportunity
The Defense Health Agency seeks maintenance services for plethysmograph equipment at Navy Medical Readiness and Training Command Beaufort, South Carolina, with proposals due June 24, 2026 and questions due June 18. This is a sole source acquisition under FAR 12.102(a) with the Government intending to award to Medical Graphics Corporation as the only responsible source capable of providing the required services.
Place of performance is Beaufort, South Carolina. The contractor must provide all trained and certified personnel, tools, equipment, vehicles, materials, supervision, and transportation to perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on two pieces of equipment: a Medical Graphics Corp Platinum Elite Body Plethysmograph (Serial No. 242000165) and a Medgraphics Model 5330 Spirometer Syringe (Serial No. 553-13540), located in the Respiratory Therapy department. Services are performed exclusively during normal business hours (7:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays). The contract includes four preventive maintenance calls per equipment annually, 24-hour emergency response for work stoppages, software updates, calibrations, and OEM parts replacement. All costs for labor, travel, parts, and materials are fully covered under the firm fixed price contract.
The base period runs from September 30, 2026 to September 29, 2027, with four optional one-year renewal periods extending through September 2031. The NAICS code is 811210, Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance; PSC code is J065. The Government intends to award without discussions unless the Contracting Officer determines them necessary.
