About this opportunity

The Department of the Air Force Air Mobility Command seeks maintenance, repair, and technical support for the JSOU Security Badging System at Joint Special Operations University, MacDill Air Force Base, Florida, with quotations due August 12 and questions due August 3. The procurement is a 100% Small Business Set Aside.

Place of performance is Tampa, Florida. Contractor personnel requiring unescorted facility access must hold a current Secret security clearance. The requirement covers comprehensive support for the AMAG Symmetry Security Management System (Version 9.3.0 or Government-approved successor), including approximately 128 controlled access points, badge printing equipment, access control panels, controllers, readers, locking devices, and associated servers and workstations. The contract structure consists of one 12-month base period with four optional one-year periods and a six-month extension, structured initially as a single CLIN that may be modified to reflect the multi-year term. The incumbent contractor is Mainstream IP Solutions, Inc. under contract FA481421C0012. No incumbent spare equipment stock exists; the contractor must procure and maintain spare inventory for badges, printer cartridges, readers, and repair parts. The AMAG Symmetry software license is currently held by MCS of Tampa; transfer arrangements must be clarified with the awardee or the contractor must independently procure licensing and OEM support. Service requirements include scheduled preventive maintenance with at least one comprehensive annual inspection and quarterly visits, 48-hour response for routine requests, 2-hour emergency response for critical security failures, and 24/7 emergency availability. The NAICS code is 561621 (size standard $25 million); PSC is J063. Award will be made using Lowest Price Technically Acceptable evaluation, proceeding until two technically acceptable quotations establish adequate price competition. Quotations must remain firm for 60 calendar days from receipt.
