About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document that clarifies requirements for the PKB Security Systems Maintenance FY26 JSOU solicitation (FA481426Q0093) issued by the Department of the Air Force Air Mobility Command. The contract involves maintaining security systems with a period of performance consisting of one twelve-month base period and four one-year option periods, structured as a single CLIN that may be modified if needed. The Government does not furnish spare parts, equipment inventory, or badge stock; the contractor is expected to procure and carry spare equipment and printing consumables (badge stock, ribbon, and other consumables) as needed based on operational requirements. The incumbent contractor is MAINSTREAM IP SOLUTIONS, INC. under contract FA481421C0012. The AMAG Symmetry software license is currently held by MCS of Tampa and the Government indicated this may transfer to the awardee or the contractor must independently procure licensing and OEM support. Response requirements include a 48-hour support window on an as-needed basis, with the current contractor averaging six emergency service calls annually. The successful contractor must establish maintenance records and equipment inventories from inception, as the Government does not provide historical maintenance records or as-built drawings. All personnel require a Secret security clearance, and no additional installation access requirements or badging procedures beyond those identified in the Statement of Work apply.
