About this opportunity
Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory seeks three picosecond laser optical assemblies (PILAS 375nm 0-40 MHz FC/APC, PILAS 480nm 0-40 MHz FC/APC, and PILAS D2 0-40 MHz, one unit each) on a firm-fixed price basis, with proposals due August 24, 2026.
Place of performance is Batavia, Illinois; delivery is FOB Fermilab Receiving Warehouse 2 at Kirk Road & Wilson Street, with all freight charges included in the quotation. The NAICS code is 334516, Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing; PSC is 6640, Laboratory Equipment and Supplies.
Award will be made on a best value basis to the responsible supplier whose proposal conforms to solicitation requirements and represents the lowest price among technically acceptable offerors. The laboratory intends to award without discussions. Payment terms are Net 30.
All proposals must include a completed RFP page, SARC Form (Subcontractor Annual Representations & Certifications, Rev. 6) if not completed within the past year, and PUR-466 Form (Proposal Certifications, Rev. 5). Certification requirements scale by proposal value: all proposals require export/import control certifications and rights to proposal data certifications; proposals of $150,000 or more require Certificate of Independent Price Determination, debarment certification, and employment/veterans reporting; proposals of $550,000 or more require combatting trafficking in persons certifications if work is performed outside the United States and items are not COTS. The materials will be used under Prime Contract No. DE-AC02-07CH11359 with the U.S. Department of Energy. Questions should be directed to Spencer Keske, Procurement Specialist III, at skeske@fnal.gov or 630-840-3323.
