About this opportunity
The Indian Health Service seeks furnishing, delivery, installation, and removal of existing cabinetry for modular pharmacy casework systems across three pharmacy areas at Phoenix Indian Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona, with quotes due September 4, 2026 at 5:00 PM EDT. This is a total Small Business set-aside; only vendors registered in SAM.gov and meeting the 100% Small Business classification under NAICS 337127 are eligible.
A mandatory site visit is scheduled for August 27 at 10:00 AM at 4212 N. 16th Street, Phoenix, Arizona 85016. The three pharmacy areas are Primary Care Medicine Clinic, Specialty, and Main Hospital pharmacies.
The statement of work requires factory-assembled modular cabinet systems with USP-795/797/800 compliance for sterile and hazardous drug preparation. Specific material and construction standards include high-pressure plastic laminate (.030" vertical grade, NEMA LD3-1991 GP28), high-performance particle board cores (47 lbs. density, 3-ply), solid surface countertops in Zen Grey with waterproof seams, stainless steel L-shaped countertops in the main pharmacy, and CNC machining with tolerances within +/-.008". Cabinets must feature concealed hinges with 200,000 cycle guarantee, integrated modular electrical systems with hospital-grade duplex receptacles (up to four circuits with isolated and dedicated grounds), and progressive-opening drawer slides with full extension. Radiused corners are required in the picking station for ergonomic efficiency.
The contractor must provide phased demolition and installation while maintaining pharmacy operations, dust containment with ICRA compliance, a phased work plan for Contracting Officer approval, white-glove delivery, and written USP compliance certification upon completion. Shipping is FOB Destination with costs included in the quote. All equipment must be new with OEM warranty; vendors must be OEM-authorized dealers, authorized distributors, or authorized resellers and provide proof via authorized distributor letter from the manufacturer. Award will be made to the lowest-priced, technically acceptable, responsive and responsible vendor, evaluated on price, technical acceptance, delivery, and past performance. The contractor must warrant all work for five years from completion date, with repairs and maintenance performed by factory-trained personnel. Payment is by electronic funds transfer through the Invoice Processing Platform in compliance with OMB M-15-19. Arizona state tax exemption applies. The resulting contract vehicle is a purchase order.
