About this opportunity

The United States Space Force Space Base Delta 1 is seeking to procure artificial turf and installation services at Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado, through solicitation FA251725Q0083. The contractor must provide and install synthetic turf in two separate areas, each measuring 5 yards by 36 yards (180 square yards each, totaling 360 square yards), on existing concrete pads at the Peterson SFB Fitness Center. Vendors must submit proposals for both green turf with white lines and blue turf with white lines, with each proposal including visual documentation and incorporating the Space Force logo per the updated Statement of Work. The award will be made based on the lowest evaluated price that meets technical requirements on an acceptable/unacceptable basis, structured as a firm-fixed price purchase order. Following multiple amendments, the current solicitation deadline is August 13, 2025, at 4:30 PM Mountain Time, with a mandatory site visit that was scheduled for July 30, 2025, and questions due by August 1, 2025.

This acquisition is designated as a 100% total small business set-aside under NAICS code 314110 (Carpet and Rug Mills) with a size standard of 1,500 employees. No incumbent contractors are identified in the solicitation documentation, and no specific contract value or budget range is disclosed. The contractor must complete installation within 60 calendar days after contract award, working during normal business hours from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The work will be performed at Peterson Space Force Base in Colorado, specifically at the fitness center facility where the turf will be used exclusively for Space Force physical training activities including sled exercises, carries, and agility drills. An important caveat notes that funds are not presently available for this contract, making the government's obligation contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds.
