About this opportunity
The Indian Health Service (IHS) is seeking to procure a Peer to Peer (P2P) circuit installation service for the Phoenix Indian Medical Center (PIMC), connecting two locations in Phoenix, Arizona. The contract requires installation of a diverse circuit path with a 200Mbps data transfer rate, completely separate from existing COX/LUMEN/VERIZON circuits. The primary objective is to establish a redundant data/voice communication pathway between co-locations, including service installation, circuit activation, and implementation of a Service Level Agreement (SLA) for ongoing support. Interested vendors must submit an IEE Representation Form with a SAM UEI Capability Statement demonstrating their ability to meet the Statement of Work requirements. All responses must be sent to Jeremiah Murrell at jeremiah.murrell@ihs.gov by January 16, 2025, with evaluation based primarily on lowest monthly pricing including installation and support contract costs.
The opportunity is set aside under the Buy Indian Act, specifically targeting Native American and Alaska Native-owned businesses that maintain at least 51% Indian ownership and control. While the precise award value is not specified, the contract includes a 5-year service period with a required 99% uptime SLA and 24/7 helpdesk support. Installation must be completed within 6 months of the purchase request, with the contractor responsible for providing and installing PE Routers, fiber cabling, and SFPs between facilities. Vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and provide their Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) number. The contract falls under NAICS category 541519 (Other Computer Related Services) and PSC category DG11 (IT and Telecom - Network: Satellite Communications and Telecom Access Services), with the Contracting Officer Representative Michael Nez available at 602-581-6010 for potential questions.
