About this opportunity
The United States Coast Guard seeks open, inspection, and repair services for four QUANTAR Receiver Radio units (NSN 5820-01-621-7354, MFG Part Number T5367A), with quotations due August 11, 2026 at 13:00 ET. This is an open market, firm-fixed-price solicitation under FAR Part 12 with no set-aside.
Place of performance is the contractor's facility, with completed units shipped FOB Destination to the USCG Surface Forces Logistics Center warehouse in Baltimore, Maryland. Work must be completed within 45 days of award: 15 days for opening, inspection, and diagnostic reporting, followed by 30 days for repair or return of beyond-economical-repair units.
The procurement requires contractors to submit an Open Inspect Report form for each unit within the initial 15-day period and provide a firm-fixed-price quote for repairable items; no repair work may commence until government authorization. Repaired units must be restored to Original Equipment Manufacturer standards, cleaned, painted, bench-tested, individually packaged with quality inspection reports, and shipped within 15 business days of repair authorization. Units deemed beyond economical repair must be returned with appropriate condition code markings and documentation. All units require specific barcode markings—Condition Code "A" for repaired units and Condition Code "H" for beyond-economical-repair units.
NAICS code is 811210, Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance; PSC is J059. Vendors must be actively registered in SAM at submission and award. Award will be made to the lowest-price technically acceptable quotation based on the initial quote without exchanges unless the Contracting Officer determines exchanges necessary. Contracting Officer Brianna Riffle (Brianna.Riffle@uscg.mil) and Contract Specialist Megan Maday (Megan.L.Maday@uscg.mil) receive electronic submissions.
