About this opportunity
The Department of the Army Materiel Command Mission and Installation Contracting Command Fort Eustis seeks one-time bulk laundry and linen service for Fort Gordon training organizations, with proposals due June 9, 2026. This is a Total Small Business set-aside; a subsequent amendment modified the original May 29 deadline to June 9 and introduced a mandatory facility visit on June 11, 2026 for the awardee only.
Place of performance is Fort Gordon, Georgia. The contractor will pick up, launder, press, and deliver linens from 14 designated barracks buildings during the period June 8 through July 7, 2026 (extended to June 15–July 14 per amendment). Estimated volume is 31,720 pieces total across three categories: 6,458 wool blankets, 12,552 cotton bed pillowcases, and 12,710 cotton bed sheets, with weekly volumes ranging from 520 to 1,800 pieces. Pickups occur once weekly between 1000–1400 hours; turnaround is five working days from pickup to delivery.
The contractor must provide all equipment, facilities, supplies, materials, labor, supervision, and vehicle transportation at no Government cost. Linens must be cleaned per manufacturer care label instructions using biodegradable products, dried without moisture, inspected before delivery, and bundled in specified configurations (10 sheets, 10 pillowcases, 5 blankets per bundle). The contractor bears liability for damage during processing and must repair or replace items. No subcontracting to commercial laundry facilities is permitted.
Contractor personnel and vehicles require background checks, gate access approval through the Visitor Control Center at Gate #6, and HSPD-12 credentialing. Personnel must complete AT Level I awareness training and iWATCH training within 30 days of contract start. Proposals are firm fixed-price under NAICS 812320 and PSC S209. Evaluation uses lowest price technically acceptable procedures with award intended without discussions. Proposals must include two volumes: Technical Capabilities & Price (20 pages plus pricing matrix) and Past Performance (3 pages per reference, 3–5 examples from the past three years). Proposals are valid for 90 calendar days from submission.
