All work must comply with OSHA 1910.1001, EPA Title 40 CFR Part 61 (NESHAP), and Oklahoma asbestos regulations. Contractors must provide personnel medical examinations, asbestos removal training, respirator fit-testing, Oklahoma licensing, and references from two previous asbestos projects. Written notification to Oklahoma and EPA must be hand-delivered, express mailed, or postmarked at least 10 working days before disturbance activities commence. Davis-Bacon prevailing wage rates apply (NAICS 562910, PSC F108). Award will be made on a best-value basis considering technical understanding and qualifications, relevant experience and past performance, and price. A final site visit is scheduled for Tuesday, September 22, at 10 a.m. CDT at the Wichita Mountains Visitor Center; contact Rick Layton at richard_layton@fws.gov or 580-583-6336 to register.
