The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network 17 seeks installation of a Physical Access Control System at the Dallas VA Medical Center, with proposals due June 18, 2026 (amended from the original June 11 deadline) and questions due June 5. Place of performance is Building 2J and Building 3 at the Dallas VAMC, 4500 S. Lancaster Road, Dallas, TX 75216. Work must be completed within 30 days of receipt and performed Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., excluding federal holidays. The scope is a turnkey extension and upgrade of existing HIRSCH systems, encompassing installation of five MX-8 access control modules, 16 card readers with keypads, 27 door contacts, 12 REX break-glass exits, electric door hardware for 14 openings, and magnetic locks, with low-voltage wiring, project management, engineering, startup labor, commissioning, and a one-year warranty. Contractors must use HEPA containment carts in patient care locations and coordinate with VA employees for network connections. NAICS code is 561621, Security Systems Services; PSC code is N063. The contract is firm-fixed-price. Award is anticipated May 22, 2026, with performance running June 25 through September 24, 2026.
