About this opportunity
The United States Marine Corps (USMC) Regional Contracting Office (RCO), Marine Corps Installations (MCI) West at Marine Corp Base (MCB) Camp Pendleton, CA is conducting market research to identify qualified businesses capable of providing non-tactical vehicle (NTV) maintenance and repair services. The services will be utilized by the Southwest Region Fleet Transportation (SWRFT) department and performed at several USMC locations in California and Arizona, including Camp Pendleton, Miramar, Twentynine Palms, Barstow, Bridgeport, and Yuma. The USMC is seeking businesses with relevant experience in general automotive repair, as the applicable NAICS code is 811111 with a $9.0 million size standard for small businesses. Interested parties must submit a capabilities statement by September 27, 2024 at 1:00pm PST. The government will use the information gathered to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy, which may involve a set-aside or full and open competition.
This procurement is set aside for small businesses, and the USMC is interested in responses from all potential sources, including small disadvantaged businesses, 8(a) businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, HUBZone small businesses, and women-owned small businesses. The current authorized inventory for the six USMC locations is approximately 1,689 non-tactical equipment items. The contract will be awarded as a Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) with a one-year base period and four 12-month option periods, potentially extended up to an additional 6 months.
