About this opportunity

The Consumer Product Safety Commission announced on June 12, 2026 its intention to sole-source a procurement to F-Concepts for an NDAA-compliant camera system installation at CPSC's Rockville, Maryland warehouse facility, with responses due by June 29, 2026. CPSC cited FAR 6.302-1(a) to justify sole-source award, stating that F-Concepts currently maintains CPSC's existing camera systems under a maintenance agreement at other locations and that only F-Concepts can ensure full compatibility and integration across CPSC installations. The procurement includes three fixed cameras, one pan-tilt-zoom dome camera, a Valerus recording server with 20TB storage, a PoE+ switch, enterprise software licenses, a monitor, mounting hardware, and installation labor, with an estimated contract value not exceeding $700,000. CPSC will award this as a simplified acquisition under FAR Part 12 procedures. While this notice is not a request for competitive quotations, interested firms may submit a written capability statement demonstrating their ability to meet the requirement by 12 p.m. Eastern Time on June 29, 2026, to Contract Specialist L. Bourne at lbourne@cpsc.gov. The government retains sole discretion to compete the procurement based on responses received.
