About this opportunity

The United States Army Contracting Command at Aberdeen Proving Ground intends to solicit and award a sole source contract to Oakwood Electronics L.L.C. for the procurement of Common Sensor Radio hardware and system support services. The requirement includes the production and delivery of CSR devices over the next five years to support Army Research Laboratory internal programs and customer programs, as well as incidental system development to enable new research capabilities. Responses to the pre-solicitation notice will be considered to determine whether a sole source award is justified and should be submitted by July 15th to the points of contact listed.

There is no set-aside designation for this potential award. The primary NAICS code is 334220 and PSC code is 5820, with Oakwood Electronics identified as the incumbent contractor currently providing these goods and services. The pre-solicitation notice did not specify an estimated value but indicated a five year period of performance to support continued research and development efforts, suggesting a multi-million dollar contract could ultimately be awarded on a sole source basis to Oakwood Electronics.
