About this opportunity
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has published a Special Notice announcing its intent to award a sole source contract for Interim Nationwide Network of Medical Services (NNMS) to Acuity International, LLC of Reston, Virginia. This notice indicates TSA's intention to use other than full and open competition procedures under FAR 6.302 authority for this Human Capital contract. The contract will encompass comprehensive medical services including medical evaluations, medical exams, mobile medical support, drug evaluations, and all other medical services required by TSA. The agency emphasizes this is not a request for competitive proposals but rather a notification of their intent to negotiate with only one source. The contract falls under NAICS code 62111 (Offices of Physicians) and PSC code Q403 (Medical-Evaluation/Screening).
The primary purpose of this interim contract is to ensure continuity of medical services while TSA recompetes and awards the full NNMS requirement through a competitive process. Interested parties who believe they have the capability to respond to this requirement may submit information by July 18, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. EDT to the designated TSA contacts Brandon Prindle and Lorena Vargas. The notice clarifies that any determination not to compete this contract based on responses received is solely at the government's discretion, and information submitted will typically be used only to assess whether a competitive procurement should be conducted. Companies seeking subcontracting opportunities are directed to contact Acuity International directly rather than the government. The notice serves as a formal announcement of TSA's procurement strategy while providing a pathway for industry feedback before final contract award.
