Responses must be submitted by 12:00 pm on July 18, 2025, to the contract specialist at Qrz9@cdc.gov.
This procurement does not utilize any set-aside designations, with CEPHEID identified as the sole capable provider due to being the original manufacturer and only vendor authorized to service the equipment according to their specifications. The total estimated value of the contract is $57,868.00, covering a service agreement period from July 6, 2025, to July 5, 2026. The procurement specifically involves three GeneXpert DX instruments: one GXlV-4-L-10C, one GXXVI-16-L-10C, and one GXXVI-16-D-10C, with the computer designated for use with the GeneXpert GX16-16 instrument serial number 816029. The place of performance is located in Sunnyvale, California, and the CDC has noted that other vendors cannot service the instruments due to Cepheid's strict warranty policy that prohibits modifications or repairs by unauthorized providers.
