About this opportunity
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Regional Procurement Office East, Network Contracting Office 4, has issued a Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source for AcuStaf Labor Management Software. The VA intends to award a sole source contract to AcuStaf Development Corporation, located in Bloomington, Minnesota, to provide labor management software for the Wilmington VA Medical Center. This notice falls under NAICS code 541519 (Other Computer Related Services) with a standard size of $34.0 million. The proposed contract structure is a five-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) agreement. The VA emphasizes that this notice is not a request for competitive quotes but rather an announcement of their intent to proceed with a sole source procurement under Federal Acquisition Regulation 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B).
The primary purpose of this notice is to provide transparency and allow other qualified vendors an opportunity to demonstrate their capabilities before the VA finalizes the sole source award. Interested contractors must submit written notifications and capability statements by 1:00 PM ET on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, via email to stephanie.mcfadden@va.gov. Responding vendors must provide comprehensive company information including their SAM Unique Equity Identifier (UEI) number, contact details, business size, and supporting evidence of their ability to perform the requirements, including relevant corporate experience with contract references and customer contacts. Vendors must also indicate whether they are direct suppliers of the required items. While the government will evaluate all responses received, they retain sole discretion in determining whether to compete the procurement based on the submissions, and the VA makes clear that information provided will not be returned to respondents.
