About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Air Force Sustainment Center is procuring one nitrogen generator to supply nitrogen gas for inflating aircraft tires at the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complex at Tinker Air Force Base. The nitrogen generator must be a complete turn-key system with membrane production technology capable of delivering 95-99% nitrogen purity, with output flow of 13-20 SCFM and storage pressure of 4000-5000 PSIG. Key technical specifications include electrical requirements of 460V/60Hz/3 Phase, operational temperature range of 50°F-125°F, maximum dimensions of 6' x 3' x 6' and weight not exceeding 4,000 lbs, and integration of a touchscreen Human-Machine Interface control panel with an in-line oxygen analyzer for continuous purity monitoring. The contract will be awarded as a commercial firm fixed-price contract based on technical acceptability of proposals, with the government evaluating the three lowest-priced proposals and selecting the vendor offering the lowest evaluated price among technically acceptable submissions. The proposal due date is December 29, 2025, and this solicitation (FA8125-26-Q-0018-0002) represents an amendment extending the original deadline from December 11, 2025.
This procurement includes no set-aside designations and no incumbent contractor information has been identified. The solicitation does not specify an award value or budget ceiling. The system must include a standard one-year warranty, safety manual, and will undergo acceptance testing by the Maintenance Support Group following installation. The nitrogen generator will provide storage capability at 4500 psi with reduced output pressure of 300-500 psi, and the complete system must include integrated components such as a rotary screw air compressor, filtration, pressure regulation, and booster compressor capability. Performance of this contract will take place at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City.
