About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Air Force Sustainment Center is seeking a contractor to provide one Nitrogen Generator Booster upgrade, including machine disconnection and removal for outbound service, transportation for both pickup and return, and all associated installation and testing work. The contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and authorized to perform repairs on proprietary equipment, with commercial product literature demonstrating OEM authorization and adequate documentation verifying that quoted items meet Statement of Work specifications. Key contract requirements include delivery within 30 calendar days from award receipt to Tinker AFB Building 3001, comprehensive performance testing (including nitrogen purity, flow rate, pressure, leak, and operational run-time testing), delivery of updated engineering specification documents, performance testing reports, warranty documentation, and compliance with extensive environmental, safety, and base access requirements. This is a Full and Open Competition solicitation with no small business set-aside used. The acquisition is a Firm Fixed Price, Sole Source purchase for one unit with a one-time purchase classification. The specific nitrogen generator booster unit (Serial Number 5407 H23494001) is currently located in Building 2210, Room E7 at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, which serves as the place of performance. All work must be accomplished within five business days of initial delivery and be performed by certified Generon technicians with expertise in nitrogen generation systems and high-pressure booster compressors during Monday through Friday work hours (7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., excluding federal holidays and base closures). The contractor must maintain multiple insurance coverages, including general liability with a $500,000 minimum and automobile liability with $200,000 per person/$500,000 per occurrence for U.S. operations, and comply with comprehensive base security and environmental regulations including RCRA training certification, FOD/DOP training certification, and trafficking in persons awareness training.
