About this opportunity

The NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA) is issuing a Request for Information on the Enhanced AirC2 (eAirC2) System Integration and Applications Marketplace, with an industry workshop at NATO Edge in Izmir, Turkey on November 17-19, 2026 and written responses due 12:00 CET on December 3, 2026. The Set Aside line reads "No Set-Aside Used," but the attached RFI summary states participation is open exclusively to companies from NATO member countries. The posting names the Department of Commerce Bureau of Industry and Security as agency, yet the notice directs respondents not to submit to Commerce. NCIA does not intend to award a contract based on responses, respondents bear their own costs, and findings may inform a future solicitation.

NCIA is seeking input on draft problem statements for two projects. The Systems Integration project would establish long-term integration capability to manage multi-supplier ecosystem coherence and interoperability. The Applications Marketplace would give NATO accelerated access to air operations applications starting in Tranche 2, earliest January 2028. Responses must address company information, project questions on scope, architecture, commercial risks, contracting models, and intellectual property, and identified risks. Submit PDF or Word files of no more than 15 pages, excluding cover pages and attachments, to CO-42632900-eAirC2@ncia.nato.int under the subject line "Response to RFI [RFI Number] - [Company Name]," referencing RFI-CO-42632900-eAirC2.

The NCIA will consider and analyze all information received from this RFI and may use these findings to develop a future solicitation. NCIA will consider all responses as confidential commercial information and will protect it as such.
