About this opportunity

The procurement involves providing and installing a new electric fire pump and motor assembly in Building 100, with specific requirements including removal of the existing pump, custom plumbing fabrication, and system commissioning to meet NFPA 20 standards. Interested contractors must submit comprehensive responses by January 21, 2025, at 3:00 PM EST, including company details, capabilities statements, manufacturing locations, point of contact information, and an informal cost estimate. The procurement is currently not set aside for any specific business category, but could be designated for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs) or Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSBs) if two or more qualified responses are received. The project falls under NAICS code 333996 for Fluid Power Pump and Motor Manufacturing and PSC code N012 for Fire Control Equipment Installation. While no specific budget range is mentioned, the contract will be awarded at a firm fixed price. The project requires detailed coordination with the VA facility, including planning for system downtime and obtaining secure area access. Contractors will need to demonstrate capability to meet technical specifications, including providing a 1500 GPM pump operating at 120 PSIG and 1785 RPM, and comply with comprehensive record management and documentation requirements.
