About this opportunity
The Naval Supply Systems Command on behalf of the United States Naval Academy is soliciting quotes for the procurement, delivery, and installation of athletic equipment at Macdonough Hall in Annapolis, Maryland. The scope includes one Draper roll-up athletic divider curtain (approximately 50 feet wide by 26 feet high with navy blue and white mesh fabric) and two Draper Model TS-21B ceiling-suspended basketball backstops with 72-inch by 42-inch glass backboards. Both items are brand-name specific with no substitutions permitted, and vendors must be authorized resellers of Draper equipment. The government will evaluate proposals based on technical acceptability and price using a Firm Fixed Price contract structure under FAR Part 12. Key deadlines include a mandatory site visit on January 28, 2026 at 12:00 PM Eastern Time, with quotes due by February 10, 2026 at 10:00 AM Eastern Time; all quotes must remain valid for thirty days following the solicitation closing date.
This solicitation is not set-aside for small businesses or other designated groups. Draper, Inc., located in Spiceland, Indiana, is the original manufacturer of the required equipment, with H2I Group serving as the authorized dealer. The estimated total procurement cost is $72,400.00, which includes equipment, delivery, and installation services across three contract line items (CLINs 0001 through 0003). The project requires completion by April 1, 2026, with all work conducted between 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM Monday through Friday. The place of performance is the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, specifically at Macdonough Hall; vendors must note that the building is under construction, personnel require criminal background checks for base access, and there is no loading dock available for delivery, necessitating on-site coordination.
