About this opportunity

This solicitation seeks offers for museum artifact cataloging services for the National Museum of the Marine Corps. The contractor will catalog approximately 15,000 artifacts over a one-year base period and four one-year options. Artifacts include fine art, posters, uniforms, equipment, aviation items, and flags. Offerors must demonstrate experience handling museum artifacts and using Axiell collection management software. The government will evaluate proposals based on experience, past performance, and price. The deadline for proposals is February 13, 2020.

The requirement is set aside for total small business and will be performed at facilities in Dumfries, Virginia and Quantico, Virginia. The contractor will catalog 3,000 artifacts per year composed of approximately 60% fine art and posters, 25% uniforms and equipment, 10% aviation items, and 5% flags and textiles. The incumbent contractor's performance will be evaluated based on a past performance questionnaire due by February 13, 2020. The solicitation is a firm-fixed-price requirement for cataloging services valued at $X per year.
