About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency is issuing a sources-sought notice and intends to solicit maintenance and support services for Motorola radio infrastructure and hand-held/mobile radios, with a response deadline of June 9, 2026. This procurement is set aside for Total Small Business and seeks qualified small business resellers.

DLA operates ASTRO25 trunked radio systems at multiple worldwide locations, including primary sites at Richmond, Columbus, Mechanicsburg, New Cumberland, Tracy, Red River, and Carlisle Barracks, plus remote global locations. The trunked radio system serves as the primary communications backbone for DLA Emergency Services, making continuous operational availability mission-critical.

The contract covers a base period of September 3, 2026 through September 2, 2027, with two optional 12-month renewal periods extending through September 2, 2029. Services include 24/7/365 technical telephone support, on-site dispatch with Motorola-trained technicians, 24-hour advanced equipment replacement, annual preventative maintenance and operational testing, portable radio repairs with five-day turnaround and 90-day warranty, system security updates and STIG backporting, NICE recorder support, bi-annual System Upgrade Agreements, and Edge Availability support at three designated locations. The contractor must coordinate repairs through certified Motorola Service Shops and maintain written service records. A non-recurring services allocation of $125,000 annually is included. Travel reimbursement is excluded from contractor scope.

The incumbent contract SP4701-20-C-0073 expires September 2, 2023, and this procurement replaces that agreement.
