Update #4 ·

Added: Jan 12, 2017 9:47 am The Government provides the following responses to questions:

Q1. Would the Government consider posting a draft TDP to allow industry the opportunity to review it prior to posting a solicitation?

A1. Yes, the Government will. It takes several weeks to gather the information, firms will be expected to meet certain restrictions regarding the documents distribution.

Q2. Would the Government consider providing an opportunity for firms to inspect a VLS module prior to positing a solicitation?

A2. The Government is considering the request and could make an inspection visit available as early as late February. If such a visit is provided it will be exclusively for firms to inspect the Port Hueneme land Based VLS module. If firms have an interest they should respond to the Government, allowing the Government the opportunity to consider the value of such a visit for industry. Firms will be expected to meet certain access restrictions, if the Government decides to offer such a visit.
