About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Air Combat Command, through the 366 Contracting Squadron at Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho, is issuing a Combined Synopsis/Request for Quote (RFQ FA4897 26QA012) for the procurement of one unit of Building in a Box (BIB) manufactured parts to support construction activities. The BIB components must comply with specific salient characteristics including UBM steel coil stock, base angles, entry door kits, louver and ventilator kits, overhead door kits, fasteners, insulation materials, and other specialized components, all carrying a one-year warranty. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database under NAICS code 333120 prior to contract award and must submit quotes via email by January 31, 2026 at 12:00 PM Mountain Standard Time, with all questions due by 10:00 AM MST the same day. In accordance with FAR PART 12.603(c)(2)(i): This is a Combined Synopsis/ Solicitation (COMBO) for commercial products prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the current Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2025-06.
This RFQ is supported by a Sole Source Justification.
