Place of performance is Washington, DC 20590, with nationwide medical exam locations required to serve employees and applicants across the country. The contractor must employ qualified licensed medical professionals including a Medical Review Officer or equivalent physician and designate a program manager as primary point of contact. Secure systems for medical records management and status tracking are required.

Estimated initial workload includes approximately 15 pre-employment exams during a staffing surge, followed by approximately 10 periodic annual exams upon reaching full staffing of 30 positions, with additional volume for return-to-duty and fitness-for-duty evaluations. Deliverables include written medical determinations, bi-weekly or monthly status reports, secure online status tracking, and monthly itemized invoices. The government retains final authority over all medical waivers and complex determinations. Responses must reference RFQ #693JK426Q600004 and be submitted to Stephen.Jones@dot.gov by 12 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. The NAICS code is 621111, Offices of Physicians.
