Added: May 13, 2015 6:00 pm This is a competitive 100% Small Business Set-aside Invitation for Bid (IFB). The acquisition is subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 237130 with a size standard of $36.5 million. This acquisition will be handled as an IFB prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subparts 14 and 36. A firm-fixed price contract award is contemplated. The project magnitude is estimated between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Place of performance will be the Mead Substation located in Clark County, Nevada.

This project consists of furnishing all necessary labor, supervision, materials, licenses, permits, insurance, transportation, and equipment necessary to install 345-KV CT and 230kV power circuit breakers, 345-kV, 230-kV and 25-kV disconnecting switches, 230-kV coupling capacitor voltage transformers, 230-kV current transformers, steel structures, station post insulators, and duplex switchboard sections as well as other associated requirements. All work shall be in strict compliance with the specifications and drawings.
