About this opportunity

The Department of Veterans Affairs Enterprise Procurement Office is issuing a Special Notice inviting contractors to MDEO Reverse Industry Days, market research for services to the Veterans Benefits Administration Medical Disability Examination Office (MDEO), with responses due November 12, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time. No set-aside is used, and the notice is not a request for quotes or proposals.

The series aims to learn about industry ideas and capabilities related to MDEO's mission and operational needs. Events are general and not tied to a specific requirement or contract action. The next General MDEO Reverse Industry Day is anticipated for December 2026, with future events at VA's discretion and separate industry days planned for specific new or recompete contract actions. Events are held virtually on Microsoft Teams as individual capability meetings limited to 25 minutes, which may include product or solution demonstrations. VA will not discuss open solicitations or active procurements, which must go to the responsible contracting officer.

The Government may limit representative attendance and decline meetings with respondents not actively registered in SAM.gov, ineligible for Federal contract awards, or whose capability statements do not demonstrate relevant MDEO services.

Interested contractors email Kristina.Kryszak@va.gov, referencing Notice # 36C10X27Q0018, with a one-page cover sheet (company name, address, SAM.gov UEI, CAGE code, primary contact, business type, and applicable GSA/GWAC/VA contract information) and a capability description of no more than two pages. Contractors unable to attend the December event may submit the same information stating their inability to attend and the reason. Submission is voluntary, and the Government assumes no financial responsibility for costs incurred.
