About this file
This document is a Presolicitation/Market Research Notice for a reverse industry day event hosted by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Enterprise Procurement Office, for the Veterans Benefits Administration Medical Disability Examination Office (MDEO).
The VA is conducting a series of general MDEO Reverse Industry Days designed to engage contractors and learn about industry capabilities and ideas related to MDEO's mission and operational needs. The next General MDEO Reverse Industry Day is scheduled for December 2026, with future events planned at VA's discretion. These events are for market research purposes only and are not tied to any specific requirement or active procurement. The VA explicitly will not discuss, accept questions, or provide information regarding any open solicitations or active procurements during these events. All procurement-specific inquiries must be directed through official channels with the responsible contracting officer. The event will be held virtually using Microsoft Teams, consisting of individual capability meetings limited to 25 minutes that may include product or solution demonstrations. The Government reserves the right to limit contractor representative attendance and decline meetings with respondents not actively registered in SAM.gov, those ineligible for Federal contract awards, or whose capability statements do not demonstrate relevant services to MDEO. Interested contractors must submit responses by email to Kristina.Kryszak@va.gov no later than 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time on November 12, 2026, referencing Notice # 36C10X27Q0018. Submissions should include a one-page cover sheet with company information (name, address, SAM.gov UEI, CAGE code, primary contact, business type, applicable GSA/GWAC/VA contract information) and a brief description of capabilities (no more than two pages) explaining how their services could support the MDEO program. Contractors unable to attend the December 2026 event may submit the same information indicating their inability to attend and reason therefor, for consideration in future industry days or specific MDEO solicitations. This notice does not constitute a request for quotes or proposals, submission is purely voluntary, and the Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred.
