About this opportunity

The Payette National Forest is soliciting proposals to replace cedar siding on buildings at the McCall Smokejumper Base in Idaho with new cedar and corrugated metal panel siding. The Department of Agriculture Forest Service seeks a contractor to furnish all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, transportation and other resources necessary to complete the project starting in summer 2023. Questions are due by May 3rd and proposals are due by May 25th. The contractor will be evaluated based on the ability to complete the work within the estimated budget of $500,000 to $1,000,000.

The Payette National Forest anticipates the need for the replacement of cedar siding on identified buildings with new cedar and corrugated metal panel siding as indicated at the McCall Smokejumper Base on the McCall Ranger District of the Payette National Forest in Idaho.

The Contractor shall furnish all tools, labor, supervision, equipment, materials, supplies (fuel), transportation, and incidentals necessary to accomplish this project.

The work anticipated under any contract resulting from the solicitation will be started as soon as conditions on-the-ground are favorable.  Approximately Summer 2023.

In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of construction for this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.

This project is a total Small Business Set Aside.
