About this opportunity

The Defense Health Agency seeks a centralized Mammography Reporting System to consolidate independent servers across 80 military treatment facilities onto a single database. The system must integrate with AGFA and Fuji PACS vendors, comply fully with FDA Mammography Quality Standards Act inspection requirements including volumetric density assessment, and maintain DOD information assurance accreditation. Interested parties must respond by March 23rd using the attached feedback form, outlining their business size, technical capabilities, experience, ability to meet cybersecurity requirements, and recommendations for improving specifications or structuring the contract.

There is no set-aside designated for this requirement. The potential NAICS codes are 541511 or 541519. The incumbent is Volpara Health Inc., and the Government is considering a sole-source, firm-fixed price contract with option periods for continued service and support. The Mammography Reporting System is expected to support approximately 80 military treatment facilities across the Defense Health Agency.

Notice text

This requirement will support DHA Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs) that provide Mammography with a centralized patient reporting and tracking system that can be accessed across the Department of Defense (DoD) MHS regardless of location. This requirement will procure software upgrades and solidate all independent servers currently hosting MRS software to one centralized database and provide support for all MTFs across the DoD MHS (regardless of location) with software licensing, training, and ongoing technical support.

The MRS must have a DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) Authority to Operate/Authority to Connect (ATO/ATC) on the MHS network. This requirement must integrate with our Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) vendors, which are AGFA and Fuji. The system must be capable of supporting an enterprise medical environment of approximately 80 MTFs from a centralized server. The MRS must be 100% compliant with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) inspection(s), to include a volumetric density assessment tool that can provide a cancer risk assessment calculator to the patient and provider.
