This specialized test system will be used to check and test Depot Maintenance Interservice Support Agreements (DMISA) Lube and Scavenge Pump units in support of the LM2500 engine program at Fleet Readiness Center South West (FRCSW). The contractor must provide comprehensive services including manufacturing, pre-shipment testing, shipping, rigging/installation, start-up, commissioning, and training for the test stand. The original proposal due date of May 27, 2025 was extended to June 12, 2025 at 12:00 AM, with an anticipated contract award in April 2025. Offerors must submit a DD2345 form to receive export-controlled documentation and submit proposals through the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) system.
This procurement is designated as a total small business set-aside under NAICS code 336413 (Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing). No incumbent contractors are identified in the solicitation materials. While specific award values are not disclosed, the procurement includes five Contract Line Item Numbers covering the test stand, training, technical data, contractor acquired property, and commercial warranty with a maximum lead time of 48 weeks for delivery. The test stand will be installed at Fleet Readiness Center South West in San Diego, CA, specifically in Building 379 on the 2nd floor. The system must include specific components such as a water heat exchanger, 40-gallon tank, variable speed motor, and comprehensive data acquisition and control system designed specifically to test the LM2500 Lube and Scavenge Unit part number L24407P07.
