About this opportunity
The Department of the Army Nevada Army National Guard is seeking a small business contractor to provide life support services for the 1st Squadron 221st Cavalry's Annual Training event at the Orchard Combat Training Center in Boise, Idaho. The solicitation requires the procurement of portable infrastructure, specifically 10-14 portable latrines, 6-8 handwashing stations, and 4-6 towed portable light towers with associated delivery, service, and pickup. The government will evaluate offers based on three primary factors: price, technical requirements, and past performance, with technical and past performance considerations weighted approximately equally to price. Interested vendors must submit quotes by May 28, 2025, with questions accepted until May 15, 2025. The solicitation follows Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) guidelines for commercial products and services evaluation.
The contract opportunity is set aside exclusively for small businesses, with a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 562991 for Septic Tank and Related Services and a small business size standard of $9.0 million. There is no current incumbent contractor for this requirement, and the services will be performed at 33400 Orchard Access in Boise, Idaho. The contract period spans from June 16 through June 25, 2025, covering a critical annual training event where the equipment will support military personnel across multiple training ranges including Range 5, Range 16, Range 14S, Range 30, ATHP 10, and OP Taylor. While specific award value is not detailed, the scope involves comprehensive support for sanitation and lighting needs during military training activities. The government will provide a site manager to coordinate and escort the contractor during equipment placement and service.
