About this opportunity

The Naval Sea Logistics Center is seeking information from industry to inform the development of a potential firm fixed price solicitation to lease 31 units of material handling equipment and maintenance support services. The Navy requires the equipment to be operated at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division in Keyport. The anticipated contract would have a one year base period of performance with four optional one-year extensions. Respondents are asked to provide information about their capabilities by completing a questionnaire that addresses areas such as small business size status, past performance history for similar requirements, and ability to meet timelines. Responses are due by the specified deadline to assist the Navy in determining an appropriate procurement strategy.

There is no set-aside designation for this potential requirement. The anticipated NAICS code is 532412 and PSC code is J019. As this is a sources sought notice rather than an active solicitation, there are no identified incumbents or budget ranges. Key details include leasing 31 units of various material handling equipment types, including electric forklifts and turret stock pickers, to support operations at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division in Keyport for a base period of one year, plus four optional one-year extensions.
