About this opportunity
The Department of State is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive landscaping and gardening maintenance services for the U.S. Embassy in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea. The contractor will be responsible for maintaining the embassy's landscape, including lawn mowing, edging, trimming, turf repair, debris removal, irrigation, shrub and tree pruning, fertilizer and herbicide application, weeding, waste removal, pest control, and replacing dead plants. Services will cover all landscape elements within the embassy premises and extend six meters beyond the perimeter wall. The pre-solicitation notice indicates that all responsible sources may submit quotations, which could be awarded without further discussions. The solicitation will be posted on SAM.gov, with quotations due by July 11, 2024, and prospective contractors must be registered in the SAM database prior to submitting offers.

The anticipated contract structure includes a base year with four optional one-year extension periods, and will be executed as a firm fixed-price contract.
