The procurement is structured with a base period plus four option years, with an optional six-month extension period. While specific award values are not disclosed, the contract will cover all reagents, calibrators, controls, supplies, and preventive maintenance for the chemistry analyzer. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334516 for Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing, and the Product/Service Code (PSC) is 6630 for Chemical Analysis Instruments. The contractor must possess a current and approved Authority to Operate (ATO) certificate from the Defense Health Agency for the specific analyzer model. The annual testing volume will range across 24 different chemical tests, with volumes varying from 540 to 15,000 tests per year, indicating a comprehensive laboratory service requirement.
