About this opportunity

The National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Fisheries, Southwest Fisheries Science Center is seeking market research responses for a fire suppression system replacement project at its La Jolla facility. Potential vendors are required to submit responses by April 16, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. Pacific Time, with submissions limited to eight PDF pages and sent directly to Contract Specialist Anna Ma. The pre-solicitation notice does not indicate any specific set-aside designations for the contract, suggesting it will be open to all qualified vendors. The proposed period of performance is from May 1, 2025, to April 30, 2026, with key deliverables including initial drawings within 30 calendar days of notice-to-proceed and final documentation seven calendar days after system commissioning. While no specific budget range is mentioned, the project involves complex fire suppression system replacement at a scientific research facility. Contractors will be expected to have certified EST programmers and must conduct comprehensive system testing and documentation. The project falls under NAICS category 811310 for commercial and industrial machinery and equipment repair and maintenance, indicating the specialized nature of the required services.
