About this opportunity

The Special Notice is issued by the Department of the Army's Joint Counter-small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-sUAS) Office (JCO) for the purpose of identifying potential solutions to detect, track, identify, and/or defeat Group 1-3 small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS) within a contested electromagnetic environment. The JCO is seeking Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 6+ solutions that can operate within a denied/contested electromagnetic spectrum and successfully execute these capabilities.

The objective is to solicit whitepapers from interested vendors by October 29, 2024. Selected vendors may be invited to provide oral presentations and demonstrate their solutions, with monetary prizes awarded to the top performers. The JCO may then award one or more prototype Other Transaction Authority (OTA) contracts to the most promising solutions, with potential follow-on production contracts. Eligibility requires solutions to meet specific requirements such as interoperability, exportability, cost, and TRL 6 or higher.
